Unfortunately I found out about this change too late and now have WatchOS 4... Much like yourself I regularly used my watch to control the music playing on my phone (I have a spinal injury and spend a lot of time laying down with my phone out of reach).
Extremely disappointed with this change and definately would not have upgraded if I'd known beforehand.
I'm usually really cautious with upgrades and am now kicking myself for being an early adopter.

Are you able to select a specific song, playlist, artist, while using the Watch? Or can you only control the playback through Play/Seek/Skip/Pause?

I am running Watch OS 4 GM. Have Airpods connected to my phone and controlling playback with my watch. It appears the UI automatically changes to phone if you are playing from phone.

Good luck mate. I bought mine overseas too but I set it up with the Apple Genius and relatively satisfied with the watch prior to leaving. Pity we don't have a real Apple Store here

there are like 20 to 30 inaccuracies in this"hit piece". From what I heard at SXSW, Dan Benjamin is "weird with money" and his nice guy persona ends when it comes to his wallet. Dan made some "greedy decisions" and that's why they split according tomy sources. Looks like Gruber also left Monteiro so go figure.

Apple did a stupid thing. Enabling iMessage by default is a bane to Apple owners! And yes, I verified that when anyone buys a new Apple device iMessage Is silently enabled. The user must take a concours effort to switch it off.

It is so hard to type on my iPad mini. :) hahahaha

Hey that's a pretty cosy setup. 3 iPads - proof that one or two can never be enough lol.
And too bad the Crossover 27" doesn't have HDMI input, otherwise it can likely double up as a monitor for the PS console.

Thanks for the Nov 2013 update. The shop space at Wheelock Place facing and directly accessible from Orchard Road has been vacant for quite some time since Esprit moved out. If your information is true, I would not be surprised to see an Apple Store there in the future. The front is covered in plain billboards, sans any advertising of new outlets, which is indicative of Apple's typical secrecy.

I think iStudio as a Premium Reseller should not be allowed by Apple Singapore to operate this way. I was forced to buy the screen protector, and I didn't even need it because of Gorilla Glass. iStudio needs to be penalized and allow the customers to refund the unused screen protector.

I have to agree that Apple Singapore customer service is quite screwed. If in need, call the U.S helpline. Singapore branch hires foreigners as tech support who can't even speak decent english and do not even know the products well. I order products directly from the U.S Apple Store. None from any so called 'Premium Resellers' in SG. If only Apple opens a proper retail store here. It will greatly affect the business of those APR.

If you r not happy with an outlet dun buy simple. Make a big fuzz doesnt solve anything. Is their company they can choose to sell any product at any price they want, they are not scamming anyone those middle age white collar knew the price hike yet they buy is their choice
